Modified lockdown over after morning scare at Lewis & Clark HS

School officials from Lewis and Clark High School confirmed to KREM 2 on Friday they are in a modified lockdown.

Update: Lewis and Clark High School is running normally again after a modified lockdown Friday morning. School officials said they received a threatening phone call at about 7:45 a.m. Spokane Police advised them to go into lockdown.

By 8:55 a.m., the school ended the lockdown and officials said they had "dealt with" the situation. Everyone is safe.

SPOKANE, Wash. – School officials from Lewis and Clark High School confirmed to KREM 2 on Friday they are in a modified lockdown.

Officials would not confirm the type of threat made that caused the lockdown, but did say they are working with police to address the threat.

Students are still in their classrooms with their teachers, and school officials said they will be sending updates to parents as information comes in.
