SPOKANE, Wash. — The new school year is just around the corner and with that comes back to school shopping.
To make it a little easier for parents, the Mission Community Outreach Center is giving out close to 1,300 pairs of shoes and socks for children ranging from kindergarten through 8th grade.
The School Shoes for Kids Distribution event is from 12:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday, Aug. 17 and 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 18. at 1906 E Mission Ave.
Parents are asked to bring IDs and children must be accompanied by an adult.
