SPOKANE, Wash. – AMC River Park Square 20 in Downtown Spokane began the first phase of construction Monday on a multi-million dollar renovation of the entire theater.
An AMC spokesperson said the theater will remain open during construction.
They said the renovations include plush, power recliner seating, new theater screens, sound systems and Coca-Cola Freestyle machines. The theater will also be getting new paint, carpets and renovated restrooms.
Theater owners said they have added an enhanced menu featuring items like chicken tenders, mozzarella sticks, French fries and pizza.
The renovations are expected to be completed later in 2015.
