SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokane fire crews rescued a 9-year-old boy from a tree near Garry Middle School.
Crews on scene said the boy had been stuck about 55 feet up an 80-foot tree since about 5:30 p.m.
Two first responders climbed the tree and they were all secured with an anchor rope. At 6:15 p.m. crews started to lower the boy to safety. About five minutes later, the boy was safely on the ground.
Officials said crews were also called to the same area on Wednesday to rescue the same boy from a different tree.
He was then taken to a car by an adult and they left the scene.
