How to meet Bo the Nigerian Dwarf Goat at the Spokane County Interstate Fair

Bo the Goat is the 2024 fair mascot and will be at the fair every day at 3 p.m.

SPOKANE, Wash. — The Spokane County Interstate Fair will host a horde of animals for guests to visit and pet, including the fair mascot, Bo the Nigerian Dwarf Goat. 

Bo will be at the fair every day at 3 p.m. and will be available for guests to meet and take photos with at Multi-Purpose area B. 

Bo's handlers, Dalkena Highlands, will also have Cedar the Highland Cow and Jack the Miniature Donkey ready to meet friendly guests at the fair. 

Cedar will be at the fair every day at 3 p.m. at Multi-Purpose area C.

Derek and Honey Smith, the owners of Dalkena Highlands, will be at the fair with their animals to answer any questions and host talks about regenerative agriculture and how they manage their farm. 

Dalkena Highlands also has "GOAT Gear" apparel available for purchase. Dalkena Highlands says 100% of the profits from GOAT Gear sales will be donated to support agricultural education and the fair’s youth programs.
