Spokane Regional Emergency Communications creates mobile app for public safety resources

SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokane Regional Emergency Communications (SREC) launched its new mobile app Monday that’s designed to provide public safety resources to the community.

In a press release, SREC said the app offers a variety of features aimed at enhancing public safety by providing quick and easy access to essential information and services.

According to SREC, key features of the app include the following:

  • Reporting illegal fireworks activity
  • Interactive evacuations maps in the event of an emergency
  • Register for real time safety alerts
  • File crime check reports
  • Request public records

The app is available for download on both the Apple App Store and Google Play store. For more information, visit the Spokane Regional Emergency Communications website.
