Spokane Police Department (SPD) confirmed they are investigating a shooting that happened on Thursday at the 1000 block of West Mansfield Ave. in North Spokane.
SPD says a person was shot at 12:15 p.m. and called 911. They reportedly suffered two gunshot wounds. They were sent to the hospital and are expected to recover.
SPD is investigating. They are still searching for the suspect.
Another area near Freya and 15th on the South Hill is related to the shooting, but SPD has not specified how.
