WASHINGTON — The Senate Higher Education and Workforce Development Committee will discuss the future of some Washington universities' athletic programs on Wednesday.

This work session is focusing on Washington State University (WSU) and University of Washington (UW) due to the recent changes in Pac-12 Conference realignment.

WSU and UW athletic department representatives will join the committee work session to contribute to discussion.

The session will start at 8 a.m. on Wednesday in the John A. Cherberg Building in Olympia, Wash.
