SANDPOINT, Idaho — Schweitzer Ski Resort will extend its preview weekend through Wednesday, Nov. 27 thanks to good snow conditions and an outpouring of community support during weekend operations.

The resort was originally meant to open only through Sunday, Nov. 24 but will extend daily operations through Wednesday.

The resort says it will continue to run the same chairlifts: Musical Carpet, Creekside Express, Basin Express and the Lakeview Triple and buses will be on their normal schedule.

Additionally, Mojo will be open in the morning, Lakeview Cafe will have a limited menu and Gourmandie and Crow's Bench will be open during normal hours for lunch and dinner respectively.

The resort will close on Thanksgiving Day and reopen for regular season daily operations on Friday, Nov. 29.

Skiers can keep an eye on mountain conditions and lift operations on Schweitzer's website.
