BOISE -- A Sandpoint man is staying calm after learning he is the latest Idahoan to become a millionaire.

Brian Reed was returning from fishing on Lake Pend Oreille Saturday when he stopped in the Travel America Plaza in Sagle to buy a few Powerball tickets.

'I asked for a $5 quick pick, but actually had an extra dollar so I got three,' said Reed. The middle pick ended up being the million dollar winner.

The winning ticket matched the first five numbers but not the Powerball for Saturday's draw. 'I didn't get too excited, I just said 'Cool, I won',' said Reed.

Reed plans to invest his winnings in a few business ventures and spend more time with his grandkids.

For selling the winning ticket, Travel America Plaza received a $20,000 bonus from the Idaho Lottery.
