Santa arrives at Spokane's River Park Square

Santa Claus is coming to town! Downtown Spokane kicked off the holiday season with festivities, Santa's first appearance and a tree-lighting ceremony.
Santa arrived in Spokane on Saturday with the annual River Park Square tree-lighting ceremony.

SPOKANE, Wash. — Santa has arrived in Spokane to kick off the holiday season! 

River Park Square hosted Santa's arrival on Saturday, Nov. 23 complete with sing-along carols, face painting and the annual tree-lighting. 

The Ferris High School Dance Team and the Spokane Aerial Elves also helped welcome Santa with performances filled with holiday spirit. 

Santa will be at River Park Square everyday until December 24 at 5 p.m. for photos under the 50-foot-tall Christmas tree. 

Reservations are required for photos with Santa. You can check the hours Santa will be available and make a reservation here.
