Red Flag Warning

A Red Flag Warning takes effect at 2:00 p.m. and continues all the way through Saturday morning. The warning covers most of Eastern Washington including Kettle Falls, Ritzville, Pullman, Moses Lake, and Spokane.

A combination of low humidity, high wind, and thunderstorms produce a strong threat of fires starting. Any fires already burning have a strong chance of growing in size. Wind gusts are expected to stay in the double digits for most of Friday, and relative humidity could drop to the teens.
