Power restored after outage affects more than 6,000 Avista customers in Spokane

Power was restored around 1 a.m. on Thursday.

SPOKANE, Wash. — Power is back on for several thousand Avista customers in Spokane.

That outage occurred just after 10 p.m. Avista released the following statement via Facebook:

"We are aware of outages in the Spokane area currently affecting 6043 customers. For updates and to report an outage, please contact us at 800-227-9187. You can also find updates to estimated restoration times, when known, and report outages at myavista.com/outage."

Power was restored around 1 a.m. Thursday.
