Popular fast-food spot, Raising Cane's potentially coming to North Spokane

The location is planned for 9252 N. Newport Highway, according to a filed building permit.

SPOKANE, Wash. — A new fast-food spot is coming to North Spokane, as Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers filed for a building permit on Newport Highway.

The location is planned for 9252 N. Newport Highway, according to a filed building permit.

At the vacant site, formerly a Burger King, the permit details a Raising Cane's with a drive thru and patio.

The proposed value is $1,300,000 for the 3,327 square foot lot.

In a statement, Raising Cane's says they plan to begin construction on its Spokane location in November and open in the fall of 2025.

Close to the new lot is a Wingstop and Click-fil-A.
