KREM Cares Big Book Giveaway FAQ Sheet
What is it? The KREM Cares Big Book Giveaway is a simple story to tell. KREM 2 and our partners want to connect kids to books. Building literacy helps build better communities. The goal is to provide over 1,500 books to pre-school and elementary-aged children.
When is the KREM Cares Big Book Giveaway? Thursday, October 20, 2022.
Where is the KREM Cares Big Book Giveaway? Spokane County Fair & Expo Center Parking Lot: 404 N. Havana St.
What time is the KREM Cars Big Book Giveaway? 3:00-6:00 p.m. or until books run out.
Who can come to the KREM Cares Big Book Giveaway? Anyone who has a child in their life. You can bring the kids with you or just swing by and pick books up for them. KREM 2 volunteers will do their best to connect you with the right books.
How many books can I pick up? We request that you pick up one book per child.
How do you pick the books? The books are selected by Scholastic.
What snacks are available? Our friends from Nom Nom are supplying the treats. Snacks vary throughout the event and usually provide big smiles for all the kids. Each child is entitled to a snack as long as supplies last.
Do we get out of the car? No. We ask everyone to stay in their car and remain comfortable.
