SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. — One woman died and one man is injured after a head-on crash near North Argonne Rd.

According to the Spokane County Sheriff's Office (SCSO), a man was driving a truck northbound, and a woman was driving a compact car southbound on North Argonne Road. The woman crossed over a double yellow center line, and hit the man's truck head on.

According to SCSO, the woman was found dead on the scene. The Spokane County Medical Examiner identified the woman as 28-year-old Amanda Fuller.

The man suffered severe but non-life-threatening injuries.

SCSO said both drivers were wearing seatbelts. Deputies said there were no signs of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. SCSO said inattention and speeding could have caused the crash.

Deputies closed North Argonne Road between East Bigelow Gulch Rd. and North Bruce Rd. for several hours while investigating the crash. The road is now open.
