CHENEY, Wash. — One person was killed and one person is in critical condition following an early morning fire in Cheney on Tuesday.
The Cheney Police Department (CPD) said on Facebook that detectives are investigating the circumstances of the fire with fire marshals and the Spokane County Medical Examiner’s Office.
CPD says the identity of the person killed and the person injured will not be released as they attempt to notify family members.
CPD says no foul play is suspected at this time.
