One man involved in the shooting during Saturday's Torchlight Parade appeared in court Monday

New court documents reveal a fight led up to that shooting.

SPOKANE, Wash. — One of the men involved in the shooting during Saturday's Torchlight Parade appeared in court Monday evening.

New court documents reveal a fight led up to that shooting.

Documents say, Charles Michael and a woman entered a store in downtown to purchase ice cream. Court records show that the store's owner confronted the pair after taking a long time looking at different ice creams.

Police say, the women threw a container of ice cream on the floor and then the owner grabbed her by the hair to throw her out. That's when court documents say the two started to fight, police say, Michael brandished a knife and two other store employees joined in, one with a metal pipe, and the other with a gun.

The employee with the gun ultimately fired it twice, hitting the woman.

Michael is the only one that has been arrested. His bond was set at $75,000.
