KOOTENAI COUNTY, Idaho — Kootenai County Sheriff's Office (KCSO) arrested one man who is suspected of homicide in Las Vegas.
KCSO and the Coeur d'Alene Police Department received notice of the suspect by Las Vegas Metro Police (LVMPD), who tracked the suspect to Kootenai County. According to LVMPD, 18-year-old Lennix Dockery is believed to be involved in the death of a 16-year-old male earlier in April.
KCSO said they tracked the suspect using information given to them by LVMPD.
Dockery reportedly ran away from LVMPD after the shooting in early April. KCSO confirmed Dockery's location in Rathdrum and got a search warrant for the home where he was staying. KCSO said the suspect left the house after KCSO surrounded the area, and was reportedly arrested without incident. He was arrested on early Saturday morning.
KCSO also looked through the house to look for more evidence connected to the shooting, as requested by LVMPD.
Two other suspects were arrested in Las Vegas after the shooting.
