COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho — The Oktoberfest celebration presented by Watkins Distributing returns to Downtown Coeur d'Alene on Sept. 20 and 21.

Businesses will be serving a selection of beers, ciders and non-alcoholic beer options as they transform into mini Biergarten for the two-day event.

There will be over 18 host sites, 30 beer options, two biergartens, seven live bands and German food from local restaurants scattered throughout Downtown Coeur d'Alene.

Rotary Centennial Park, at 316 Sherman Ave, will be turned into the No-Li Biergarten. There you can catch entertainment and a range of live bands including German music on the Musikbühne Stage.

A second location at the Wilma Lot, on the corner of 2nd & Sherman, will be transformed into the Prostgarten. That location will be filled with beer, food and live musical entertainment on the STCU Stage.

The event runs Friday, Sept. 20 from 4 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, Sept. 21 from noon to 8 p.m.

The annual tapping of the keg at Prostgarten starts Friday at 6 p.m. It will be followed by the Sean and Brad Show and a stein-holding contest at 7 PM in the No-Li Biergarten.

Then on Saturday, you can join the stein-holding contest in the No-Li Biergarten at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m., and the best traditional dress contest at 4 p.m.

Oktoberfest’s musical lineup for each biergarten location can be found here.

Tickets for the event start at $25. For more information or to get your ticket, click here
