OKANOGAN COUNTY, Wash. — A Tonasket man who was charged with murder in connection with the death of a Issaquah woman during a dispute had his charges dismissed, according to the Okanogan County Prosecutor's Office.
The man was 55 years old when he was charged with murder for the death of Debra Long of Issaquah in June 2015, had his charges dismissed by a judge, according to the OCPO. KREM has removed his name due to the dismissal.
Witnesses said Long died when the man ran over her and George Abrantes of Marysville during a dispute in 2015. Abrantes was taken to a Spokane hospital.
