TUKWILA, Wash. -- Tukwila has been named the most dangerous city in America, according to home security consultant website SafeWise.
Spokane also made the list of 30 cities, coming in at 22.
The list cites 8.18 violent crimes per 1,000 in Tukwila, to go along with 165.75 property crimes per 1,000.
To come up with the list, the most recent FBI Crime Report statistics were combined with population data. Cities with fewer than 10,000 residents and any that failed to submit a complete crime report to the FBI were not included on the list.
