Thomas Dinh Bowman listens as the guilty verdict is read in his 1st degree murder trial in Seattle, Dec. 11, 2014.

ID=20258787SEATTLE- A King County Superior Court jury has found a 32-year-old man guilty of first-degree murder in what prosecutors said was a random thrill-killing at a Seattle intersection.

The jury returned the verdict Thursday, a day after they started deliberating in the case against 32-year-old Dinh Bowman.

Bowman claimed he was acting in self-defense when he shot and killed Seattle wine steward Yancy Noll as he drove home in August 2012. Bowman said Noll had thrown a wine bottle into his convertible and hit him on the head.

But prosecutors told the jury that Bowman was a student of murder who read manuals on how to kill with impunity.
