SPOKANE-- Both sides have rested their case in a double-murder trial in Spokane.
Defense attorneys for Justin Crenshaw rested Thursday.
Crenshaw faces two first-degree murder charges, accused of stabbing Tanner Pehl, 20, and Sarah Clark, 18, to death in 2008 with knives and swords, and then setting the scene on fire.
The defense argues Crenshaw did not plan the victims' deaths, and suffers from a alcohol-induced condition that causes him to become violent.
Lawyers spent two years preparing for the case, yet they've only been in court for two weeks.
