Green Bluff farms are shipping in peaches from across Washington to make up for lost crops.

GREEN BLUFF, Wash. — Green Bluff Growers announced via Facebook that farms will not be able to offer U-pick peaches due to a late-season frost that impacted the orchards.

They say the frost occurred during the fruit’s crucial flowering period, preventing the blossoms from fully developing and leading to a significantly reduced crop of fruit.

However, Green Bluff will be offering Picked 4U peaches from other local farms in Washington state that have been grown with the same dedication that Green Bluff farms pride themselves on.

These peaches will not be found in stores and purchasing them from Green Bluff will support the local farms.

So if you’re looking for fresh, juicy peaches, you can still rely on Green Bluff.

Be sure to check each farm’s hours of operation and peach availability before planning a trip.
