Incoming Spokane Police Chief to be sworn in August 26

The ceremony will take place at 12 p.m. on Monday, August 26.
An official start date is still being worked out, but Chief Hall is expected to start in his new position prior to September 1.

SPOKANE, Wash. — The incoming Spokane Police Department Chief, Kevin Hall, will be sworn in on Monday, August 26. 

The ceremony will take place at 12 p.m. at the Tribal Gathering Place just outside of Spokane City Hall. 

According to a press release from the City of Spokane, the ceremony will also feature the SPD Honor Guard, live performances and speeches by Spokane Mayor Lisa Brown and the new chief. 

The ceremony will be followed by a brief press conference with Chief Hall.
