SPOKANE, Wash. — A new addition to Spokane's River Park Square has local kids clamoring to build and older residents eager to take a trip down memory lane.
A new Lego Store opened at River Park Square in downtown Spokane Friday.
Hundreds of Lego fanatics lined up to be the first people inside of the store. Most were unbothered by the cold weather and just happy to have one of their favorite things now located in the city.
“I’m here for the millennium falcon because it look’s awesome," one fan said.
“It’s just really fun to get one that’s not seven hours away," another fan said.
The store will also have specials going on throughout the weekend. That includes a free “I love Lego” store tile while supplies last.
