The 46-year-old man from Alberton, Mont., was sentenced to 86 months in federal prison for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and fentanyl.

COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho — U.S. Attorney Josh Hurwit announced the results of a drug distribution case in North Idaho on Wednesday.

According to court records, Anderson was involved in trafficking methamphetamine and fentanyl.

“The case results announced today reflect stellar work by our prosecutors and staff,” said Hurwit. “Together with our law enforcement partners, our office is rising to meet the challenge that drug trafficking poses to communities in North Idaho.
