One man died of a heart attack while skiing at Lookout Pass

According to the Shoshone County Sheriff's Office, the man died on Thursday afternoon.

SHOSHONE COUNTY, Idaho — One skier died of a heart attack at Lookout Pass Ski Resort on Thursday.

According to Lookout Pass officials, a lift attendant noticed a man slouched over on a chairlift. All ski lifts were stopped as the rescue crew responded to the scene.

Ski patrollers and paramedics made multiple lifesaving efforts but they could not revive the man.

Shoshone County Sheriff's Office (SCSO) also responded, saying the man was reportedly unconscious. He was later declared deceased. 

The skier's identity is still unknown but Lookout Pass told KREM 2 their hearts go out to the man's family.
