SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokane Police Department (SPD) arrested a man connected in a string of assaults in downtown Spokane.

According to SPD, the suspect, 44-year-old Shaun Webb, assaulted three different people on Jan. 14 and Jan. 15. SPD arrested the suspect after the third incident.

Webb allegedly grabbed a juvenile, hit him then ran away on Jan. 14 in downtown Spokane. SPD found the suspect shortly afterward outside of a building, and booked him into Spokane County Jail for 4th Degree assault.

SPD responded to reports of a man who was hit and kicked into unconsciousness at an apartment building on Jan. 15. The suspect allegedly pushed his way into the building, then ran away on foot. SPD received another call from a woman who said Webb put her in a headlock after trying to give him handwarmers. She said she was able to drive away.

SPD arrested the suspect and booked him into the Spokane County Jail for burglary and assault. SPD said Webb has 4 previous felony convictions.
