All evacuations lifted for No. 2 Canyon Road fire in Wenatchee

Fire officials ask public to stay out of the area so firefighters can work.

WENATCHEE, Wash — Chelan County Emergency Management have lifted all evacuations for the No. 2 Canyon Road fire burning in Wenatchee, from milepost 1.5 to Castle Heights Road. 

Here is what you need to know:

  • A Level 1: "Get Ready" order has been issued for Kings Court and Center Court Drive area.
  • A Red Cross shelter is opening at 7p.m.  for evacuees at Sage Hill Church at 1601 5th Street.
  • DNR is estimating the size of the fire to be about 100 acres.
  • A cause is still unknown.
  • Officials are asking the public to steer clear of No. 2 Canyon Road so fire crews can work on containment.
