MOSCOW, Idaho -- J. Russell Elementary in Moscow was placed in modified lockdown Tuesday after two threatening notes were found on Monday.
Moscow Police were on scene when students came to school Tuesday morning.
The children were told to leave their coats and backpacks in the hallways. Authorities said nothing was found.
School officials said the notes made threats but were not specific. They said they believe the notes were written by a student.
Officials said they interviewed possible suspects but did not find anything. They also searched the school.
J. Russell Elementary is a school for grades three to five.
