LATAH COUNTY, Idaho — A couple in Latah County is asking for help after the aftermath of the Gwen and River Fires destroyed their home and all of their belongings.
The couple's friends from work set up the GoFundMe page to bring awareness to their situation.
According to the GoFundMe page, Cassie and Joey lost everything from personal belongings to cherished memories, and the comfort of their home. The couple also has two girls they need to look after during this tough time.
The family needs to find a new place to live, as well as replace all essential items and cope with the emotional toll of such a loss.
"They will need to start from scratch to rebuild their lives," said the couple's friend Brittany Hall.

- Purchasing clothing and personal items.
- Replacing furniture and household essentials.
- Covering any immediate living expenses.
