KREM announces shifting anchor roles

Several on-air anchor shifts are coming to KREM 2 News in March.

Brittany Bailey will join KREM 2 Morning News as a co-anchor with Jen York from 5 a.m. to 7 a.m. Brittany has extensive experience anchoring, reporting and producing over the last 16 years at WKYT in Lexington, KSDK in St. Louis, WMAZ in Macon, WBIR in Knoxville and most recently as morning anchor at KRDO in Colorado Springs.

Briana Bermensolo will move from weekend weather and news anchor to weekday morning and noon weather anchor. Briana will also take over the KREM in the Classroom segments that teach local school children about weather. She will replace meteorologist Katie Boer who is moving on to other opportunities. Briana has worked as both a weather/news anchor and reporter for more than three years at KREM.

Laura Papetti will shift to a different role at KREM to expand her role as community marketing director. She will appear consistently on-air in KREM newscasts to help showcase KREM's community involvement.

Whitney Ward will be moving from weekend news anchor/reporter to co-anchoring KREM 2 News at 10:00 and 11:00 on Monday and Tuesday nights with Mark Hanrahan and Tom Sherry. She will report investigative stories the remainder of the week. Sten Walstrom will move into Whitney’s role as weekend news anchor/reporter.
