COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho -- A man who kidnapped and shot another man after a road rage incident was sentenced on tuesday.
Justin Booth will serve a 30-year fixed sentence along with an indeterminate life sentence. This means he will serve 30 years behind bars, but there is the possibility he could also serve life in prison.
Police said Booth and another man, David Hutto, killed Bo Kirk in 2016. They were out looking for homes to rob when Kirk drove up behind them. They started following him. Then, they kidnapped and shot him.
Hutto accepted a plea deal and was sentenced to three life terms earlier in 2018.
