Lori Isenberg makes first court appearance for bench warrant

According to Kootenai County Jail records, Isenberg was arrested late Wednesday night.

COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho -- Lori Isenberg, who is under investigation for grand theft, made her first court appearance Thursday afternoon.

According to Kootenai County Jail records, Isenberg was arrested late Wednesday night. Kootenai County Sheriff's officials said she turned herself in.

Isenberg appeared in court for her $500,000 bench warrant. The date for her arraignment is to be determined.

She is accused of stealing an estimated $500,000 from a North Idaho nonprofit.

Isenberg's husband Larry went missing on Lake Coeur d’Alene on February 13. She is not facing any charges in her husband's death.

A bench warrant of $500,000 was issued for Isenberg’s arrest in late May after she failed to appear in court for a second time. Her attorney said he did not know where she was.

Lori Isenberg's daughters are also under investigation for conspiracy to commit theft and murder.

CORRECTION: In an earlier version of this story, we reported Isenberg was a suspect in her husband's murder. So far, police have not verified that.
