ATHOL, Idaho --The driver in a crash that killed three people including two children near Athol was taken into custody on Friday.
Ryan Turner, 27, is charged with three counts of felony manslaughter for the crash on Highway 95.
An early morning crash September 12th left three dead, according to Idaho State Police.
Matthew-Michael T Baroni, 33, Madilyn Baroni, 8, and Molly Baroni, 6, were travelling in the Dodge Caravan. ISP said none of them were wearing seat belts. All three died on scene.
ISP said alcohol was likely a factor in the crash. Turner, 27, was driving northbound in the southbound lanes when he hit a van head-on killing the Spokane father and his two daughters.
Friends and family praised Baroni for being an outstanding father.
