POST FALLS, Idaho — The Kootenai County Sheriff's Office (KCSO) arrested two men during a traffic stop after deputies found the duo allegedly trafficking drugs.
KCSO arrested 64-year-old Brian Hanson and 69-year-old Michael White when deputies found more than a pound of methamphetamine, one gram of fentanyl a handgun, and assorted drug paraphernalia in the car Hanson was driving. KCSO originally stopped them because of a minor traffic violation.
Hanson is from Post Falls, while White is from Hayden.
Officers charged Hanson with possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest. White was charged with trafficking methamphetamine, possession of fentanyl and illegally owning a gun. Both men were booked into the Kootenai County Jail.
According to KCSO, Post Falls Police Department helped with the investigation.
