HAYDEN LAKE, Idaho — Kootenai County Sheriff’s arrested a 23-year-old man after an alleged stabbing incident in Hayden.
Deputies say they responded to a residence at 3 a.m. on Monday following reports of a stabbing.
When they arrived, deputies identified the suspect as Andrew Trump. According to deputies, Trump became involved in an argument when he allegedly retrieved a knife and stabbed one person.
The victim was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
A witness who attempted to intervene also sustained a minor cut to the finger.
Andrew Trump was arrested and charged with aggravated battery and is being held at the Kootenai County Public Safety Building as the investigation continues.
