SPOKANE, Wash. — The Idaho State Police said in a tweet Thursday night that they arrested a drunk driver for crashing into an ambulance near Coeur d'Alene.
ISP responded to a crash on Highway 95 near milepost 425 south of Coeur d'Alene at 9:53 p.m. Thursday night. Matthew T. Johnson was driving his 2017 Ford Raptor southbound when he crashed into a Kootenai County ambulance driving northbound, according to an ISP news release.
All occupants of the ambulance, including the driver and a patient, were treated and released at Kootenai Health in Coeur d'Alene. Johnson was arrested on the scene, according to the tweet.
