Idaho Lottery to announce winning numbers for $1 million prize

The top winning ticket will make someone the Idaho Lottery’s 62nd millionaire and 12th from the game.

BOISE, Idaho — The Idaho Lottery will announce the winning numbers in a sold-out $1 million raffle on Thursday night.

The top winning ticket will make someone the Idaho Lottery’s 62nd millionaire and 12th from the game.

The Idaho Lottery will release the winning numbers in the raffle shortly after 10 p.m.

Players can check their tickets for winners by going to idaholottery.com, calling the Idaho Lottery Winning Numbers Hotline at 208-334-4656, using the Idaho Lottery’s Check-a-Ticket app or by visiting an Idaho lottery retail location.

More than 7,300 prizes are available, according to the Idaho Lottery.

In 2015, a Sandpoint man became Idaho's newest millionaire.

Brian Reed was returning from fishing on Lake Pend Oreille Saturday when he stopped in the Travel America Plaza in Sagle to buy a few Powerball tickets.

"I asked for a $5 quick pick, but actually had an extra dollar so I got three," Reed said. The middle pick ended up being the million dollar winner.

Reed said he planned to invest his winnings in a few business ventures and spend more time with his grandchildren.
