MOSES LAKE, Wash. - One person is dead and two others in custody after a shooting in Moses Lake, early Sunday morning.

Grant County Coroner's Office confirmed that Christian Guerra, 22, from Moses Lake was the victim in the shooting.

According to police, the shooting happened just around 1:30 a.m. at the Jack in the Box off of Wheeler Road and Pioneer Way.

According to the Moses Lake Police Department, Martha Mejia, 34, and Jason Williams, 37, both of Moses Lake, were in a black 2001 Yukon and almost backed into Guerra's 2010 Ford Fusion.

Guerra then yelled at Mejia, the driver of the Yukon, to be careful which resulted in Mejia exiting the vehicle, resulting in a shouting match between the two, according to police.

Williams then allegedly exited the passenger side of the vehicle, and began fighting with Guerra.

The two were separated, then when Guerra went back into his car, Williams allegedly got into the passenger's seat of Guerra's vehicle and punched him.

Williams then allegedly went back to the Yukon, retrieved a hand gun and fired several rounds at both Guerra and the Fusion.

Guerra was taken to Samaritan hospital and later died as a result of his wounds.

Reports state that after the shooting, Williams and Mejia drove away, and police later arrested them on South Grand in Moses Lake.

Both Mejia and Williams were booked into the Grant County Jail for Murder in the First Degree, according to Captain Dave Sands of the Moses Lake Police Department.

An autopsy for Guerra is scheduled for Monday, according to the Grant County Coroner's Office.

The Jack in the Box closed after the incident, but reopened at 6:00 a.m. Sunday morning.
