EPHRATA, Wash. — The Grant County Sheriff's Office has stopped its for a cougar in Ephrata on Thursday morning.
The GCSO said it was searching for a cougar in Ephrata on Thursday morning that was initially spotted by a deputy near F Street Northwest. It has since called off the search, saying it likely wandered back into wild land accessible from northwest Ephrata.
Police say there was no indication the cougar was stalking prey and it didn't attack anyone.
