Suspect in custody for Grant County drive-by shooting

Deputies say a car drove off SR 17 after the shooting and crashed. Two people from the car were injured and taken to the hospital.

GRANT COUNTY, Wash. — The Grant County Sheriff's Office (GCSO) has one suspect in custody for a drive-by shooting that happened around 4:30 p.m. Sunday evening. 

Deputies say a car drove off SR 17 after the shooting and crashed. Two people from the car were injured and taken to the hospital. Their condition is unknown.

State Route 17 was closed for hours between Patton Boulevard and Grape Drive while deputies investigates. Northbound traffic was being alternated using the southbound lanes.

The Sheriff's Office will  continue to post the latest updates on their Facebook page
