RENTON, Wash. — Former Seattle Seahawk Bobby Wagner is staying connected to Seattle even though he's currently playing for a different Washington on the other side of the country.

Wagner announced he is opening a Crumbl location in Renton.

The popular cookie franchise will be located at The Landing, a shopping area on North 10th Street. It's set to open at 8 a.m. Friday, Aug. 30.

"Come out, I might sign a few things," Wagner posted to X, formerly known as Twitter.

In the announcement on social media, he wrote, "This is one of many steps I'm looking to take to stay connected to the beautiful city of Seattle."

According to a post on the store's Instagram page, a grand opening celebration will be held on Saturday, Aug. 31 and will feature giveaways, games, a raffle, and face painting.

There are several Crumbl locations around western Washington, including Woodinville, Lynnwood, Burlington, Issaquah, Olympia and more.

Wagner has had other Seattle-based business ventures off the field. In 2020, he co-founded Fuse, a venture capital firm. He has also partnered with Virginia Mason Franciscan Health to create a comic book aimed at spreading stroke awareness and took a group of students on a "Seattle Tech Tour" to show them the opportunities they have after high school.
