GRANT COUNTY, Wash. — On Wednesday, the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) announced that the fishing season in three lakes in Grant County has been extended.

Fishing for gamefish will now be allowed starting October 1 through October 31 in Park Lake, Blue Lake and Deep Lake.

WDFW says the rules for statewide minimum size and daily limits will still apply.

WDFW says the change follows a permanent fishing rule that extends the season in these three Grant County lakes.
