FERRY COUNTY, Wa. --- A man on vacation in Ferry County drowned when he fell overboard on Curlew Lake on Monday.
The Ferry County Sheriff’s Office confirmed a 72-year-old man died after he went over the back of his boat and pulled underwater.
Deputies said it happened near the Black Beach Resort. They said the man owned the boat and likely had a boater’s license.
No word on the identity of the man who drowned.
