Some evacuations lifted in Latah County following industrial structure collapse

LATAH COUNTY, Idaho — The Latah County Sheriff's Office said people living near CHS Primeland need to leave immediately due to an industrial structure collapse.

The sheriff's office said people living in a two-block radius of the address (301 Railroad Street) need to leave now. 

People living at 5th Street from Railroad to Highway 3 can now return home after previously being asked to evacuate.

The sheriff's office said there aren't any full road closures as of now. The sheriff's office also wants people to avoid foot traffic on Railroad Street as crews work to clear the spilled grain.
