Coeur d'Alene author Tamera Duce publishes fantasy novel

The novel follows a young girl who learns she can leave her abusive foster household by jumping into the stories of books and finally finds a true family.

COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho — Into the Pages, a new book by Coeur d'Alene-native Tamera Duce has been released by Dorrance Publishing Co., Inc.

Duce lives in north Idaho and works for a local school district. Duce says writing is a passion but also loves to explore the Idaho outdoors. 

Into the Pages is a fantasy novel that follows Izzy, a young girl who learns she can leave her abusive foster household by jumping into the stories of books. Izzy finds people she can consider family for the first time and must challenge herself to save them from danger when it matters most. 

Into the Pages is a 269-page hardback with a retail price of $28. The book can be bought in either hardcover or e-book format directly from Dorrance Publishing or through other online booksellers including Amazon and Barnes and Noble.
