COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho — Coeur d'Alene public schools will not have classes on Tuesday, Nov. 5 due to some schools serving as polling places for Election Day.
Coeur d'Alene Public Schools said on Facebook that the closures are to ensure a safe environment for voters and students as local officials expect a high voter turnout.
Regular school schedules will resume on Wednesday, Nov. 6.
Voters in the area can find a polling place near them through the Kootenai County official website.
